About the Authors

Manoj Thakkar

Shri Manoj Thakkar is a fakir of this day and age in the truest sense of that word, a fakir who believes in dressing like a man of our times, and one who living and dealing with all matters worldly, living every moment completely, is yet far detached from it. A learned philosopher, thinker and writer on philosophical and spiritual subjects, born on the 3'' July 1965, he showed signs of intellectual power and awareness from the very beginning, and has authored two books (Language - Hindi) including the classic, PranKavya — Ek Abhivyakti, a philosophical rendering of Madhushala, and the best-selling and hugely honored Kashi Mamanmukti. He is also the inspiration behind the founding of the diversified business conglomerate United Works Corporation (UWC) though he remains completely untouched by its workings and its commercial aspects. There is absolutely no personal income or other benefits that he enjoys through the business group, and dedicates all the money generated through the sale of Kashi Marnanmukti as well to an ashram for mentally challenged children at Indore. Taking Shri Sai Baba, the wondrous Saint of Shirdi, as his Guru, he has always showed all those who come to him for strength and guidance, the path towards self realization, eventually leading to one's spiritual growth. The most sacred secrets of life are never revealed in public, hidden in the innermost recesses of the soul they are accessible only to a few, only to the true seeker, and it is through them that the Supreme Spirit manifests itself in varying degrees. Shri Manoj Thakkar is one of those rare and splendid jewels.

Rashmi Chhazed

Rashmi Chhazed (Gadia), a disciple of Shri Manoj Thakkar herself, has given a remarkable contribution as the co-author of the book and was instrumental in the deep and thorough research required during the writing of the book. Kashi Mamanmukti is her first literary endeavor.

Both the authors have unremittingly maintained that they were but mediums during the writing of the book, and that Kashi Mamanmukti is a grace that must spread and reach as many as possible.
